I hold a Doctor of Science from ETH Zurich, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Mansoura University, where I graduated first in my class.

Started an SNSF Postdoc.Mobility fellowship at MIT

Two years of Swiss NSF funding for seismic topology optimization and physical prototyping of reinforced concrete using additive manufacturing and robotic fabrication.

URM benchmark dataset published in Earthquake Spectra

Centrifuge shake table tests of 3D-printed unreinforced masonry structures, released as an open benchmark for validating numerical models. See [J1]

Interlocking-block dwellings paper in Construction and Building Materials

Shear behavior and centrifuge seismic modeling of corbel dwellings built from interlocking compressed earth blocks, aimed at affordable seismic-resistant housing. See [J2]
